David & Charles aquired the rights to publish a title supporting a new prime-time TV series, Mastercrafts. Due to air in February 2010, Mastercrafts is a major new exploration of traditional British craftsmanship. The book will celebrate all aspects of rural crafts: Woodcraft, Thatching, Weaving, Stone Masonry, Metalwork & Glass Making.
Above and beyond this, David & Charles has a unique interest in British heritage crafts, having published into this category for a number of years. This blog provides an outlet for our stories, interests and activity in this community interest area.
